Season 1-5 are the best seasons, Season 6 is solid but very flawed, Season 7 brought it back to quality & is badass but Season 8 is pure shit. I hope they end the show & continue anything they wish to continue on the big screen

Season 4 is my favorite because the bad guys are badass, it's easy to get into without seeing any of the previous seasons & Curtis, Chloe, Tony & Jack are all great together! Season 5 is considered the best season but while I got past the assassinations, the ending sucked because it led up to the flawed 6th season

Season 8 sucks so much ass but all 7 previous seasons were outstanding & I own them on DVD. This season is so shitty however that I refuse to buy it. FOX, please cancel it & make the theatrical movie already!

idk. But law enforcement rarely use silencers. They have no need to conceal the noise like a criminal trying to get away with something would. And I think you can whip around a store a normal gun with no silencer on it more easily. BUT come to think of it he uses it whenever he is sneaking into an area. That's pretty realistic I would say.
